Since launching our Kyrio™ rebranding a few weeks ago, we’ve had tremendously positive feedback about the new company name and our expanded service offerings. Most knew us for our managed Public Key Infrastructure service. Our additional services garnered a great deal of interest both from new and existing customers.
Kyrio first offered PKI services in 2012, expanding beyond the cable industry to serving the Wi-Fi and smart grid industries, and large broadband network providers. That first line of business taught us a great deal about how to bring technologies from the R&D lab to new markets and customers. Today, we offer a robust set of security services centered around helping device manufactures and network providers successfully implement PKI in their respective products and services.
In 2015 Kyrio expanded our offerings to include testing of Wi-Fi devices, primarily Wi-Fi access points, set top boxes and end user wireless devices (smartphones, etc.). Testing new innovations and technologies is part of the DNA of our parent company, CableLabs. Expanding into testing services using of our anechoic chamber and Wi-Fi test house was a natural service for Kyrio. Our customers immediately received high value from our testing services by helping network providers deploy the best performing Wi-Fi technologies, and assisting device manufactures put their best performing products in customers hands.
In addition to Wi-Fi testing, Kyrio is also deploying a Wi-Fi roaming service that enables medium sized network providers to expand customers’ access to other Wi-Fi networks outside of their broadband service provider’s area.
Kyrio also offers Go2BroadbandSM, a cloud-based web services platform that connects cable broadband providers with affiliates (channel partners). Go2Broadband makes it easy for broadband end customers to find the service provider(s) in their area and get broadband service at their residence. This service processes a high volume of transactions per month, while solving the integration and data differences between various online websites and network providers’ backend systems.
What’s the common thread in Kyrio’s service offerings? The network. All of our services in some way help our customers provide a better and more secure network experience for their end customers. We love our customers and greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve them.
