We’re excited to announce that For the first time, Kyrio and Digicert are teaming up to exhibit at the OpenADR Alliance booth (#2453) at DistribuTECH 2018 from January 23 – 25, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. As the premier event for the utilities industry, we look forward to connecting with professionals in the IoT and smart grid industry. At this event, Kyrio will be teaching attendees how to implement IoT device security with the use of digital certificates.
The OpenADR Alliance is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to fostering the development, adoption and compliance of the Open Automated Demand Response (OpenADR) standard. Kyrio has a long-standing relationship with the OpenADR Alliance as the exclusive provider of PKI security for its membership, where our solutions ensure the identity and integrity of devices connecting to the smart grid.
At the OpenADR Alliance booth, six members and four companies will be showcasing different smart grid solutions as it relates to the OpenADR standard. Kyrio and Digicert will show how they are working to incorporate enterprise-grade security in IoT devices while maintaining a simple process for ease of design for embedded systems. To help make the future of smart cities, smart grids, and DER more efficient and secure, Kyrio’s IoT reference platform implements certificate-based authentication into connected devices without requiring a security expert on-hand.
