Kyrio partners with Microchip to create embedded IoT device security

CableLabs’ for-profit unit Kyrio has announced a partnership with Microchip Technology to develop embedded security for internet of things devices.

“There needs to be some control put on the wild, wild west of IoT,’ said Ron Ih, director of business development at Kyrio, summing up a recent Kyrio blog post in an interview with FierceCable.
